What is the length of term of the Franchise Agreement and is it renewable?
It is for a five year term. Yes, there is an option to renew to the terms of the then current Franchise Agreement. There is no renewal fee payable, excepting franchisor’s legal costs, if any.
Can I sell my business?
Yes, having received the prior permission of the Franchisor who must approve the new purchaser. If Beleaf introduces the new purchaser, they receive a finder’s fee which is 10% of the sale proceeds.
How do I find sites suitable for a Beleaf outlet?
The Franchisor will set out site selection criteria such as minimum footfall per week and the franchisee must go and secure a location – no agreement or lease should be signed until the site has been signed off by the franchisor.
Is the outlet custom made for each location?
Yes, our design department designs it for each specific location.
How do I effectively launch the business?
When properly sighted, the Beleaf outlet by its very visible nature attracts trade. Basically you just open the unit and start trading. A preopening and post-opening program will be provided.
From where do I get all the appropriate equipment?
These are obtained from Franchisor nominated suppliers to whom payment is made as required.
What is the ongoing fee structure?
There is a 6% Management Services Fee and a 1.5% National Promotional/Marketing Levy and a 0.5% International Promotional/Marketing Levy. These fees are based on turnover net of VAT.
